Registration, Permits or 'Premises-licenses' from authorities
In some cases registration needs to be done, or permits or premises license from certain other authorities need to be acquired.
The permits that are issued by the licensing authorities are alcohol-licensed premises, family entertainment centres, prize gaming and clubs.
Premises that require to be licensed for gambling include casino premises, bingo premises, betting premises (including tracks), adult gaming centres (AGCs) or family entertainment centres (FECs).
There are two kinds of licenses required for lottery.
- Operating License
- Personal Management License
Applying for an Operating License
An application should be submitted to the Gambling Commission which should include the purpose and details of the lottery as well as the business plan and organizational chart of the company, along with the fee.
Applying for a Personal Management License
A personal management licence can be applied to the Gambling Commission by submitting an application along with photo identification and fee.
