Lynchburg Lemonade Cocktail is one of the most famous and mouth-watering cocktails of all time. It got its name from Jack Daniel’s Distillery hometown i.e. Lynchburg Tennessee. A traditional Lynchburg Lemonade cocktail recipe consists of one portion of triple sec, 4 portions of JD’s Whisk, 4 portions of lemon lime soda and one part of sour mix. As you can see that most of the ingredients are sour and thus the cocktail itself belongs to a sour family of cocktail drinks. The cocktail is served chilled with ice and garnished with fresh cherry or lemon. The Lynchburg Lemonade Cocktail was first created by the Alabama restaurant in 1980 and they gave it this special name. The same cocktail formed the basis of lawsuit on Jack Daniel’s Distillery by the owner of Alabama restaurant after the launch of same type of drink by JD. Tony Mason alleged that Jack Daniel secretly has the recipe of the drink and then they started manufacturing it. Tony also asked for 13 million dollars compensation, which was rejected by the judge. Ingredients;
(1 oz) Jack Daniel’s Whiskey
(1/2 oz)  Triple Sec
(1 oz) Sweet and Sour
Lemon Lime Soda
Ice Cubes
Lemon and cherry for garnishing – Optional

Instructions

    Take a Collins glass and fill it with Ice cubes as required and then pour one oz of Jack Daniel's Whiskey in it.

    Pour one oz of sweet and sour and half oz of triple sec in the mixture and shake all the ingredients briefly.

    Now, top it up with lemon lime soda and garnish the drink with lemon and cherry. Your Lynchburg Lemonade Cocktail is ready to serve.
