Pour the beeswax pellets, sweet almond oil, safflower oil, and grape seed oil into a boiler according to the measurements given above. Turn on the heat to a low setting. Beeswax is always heated slowly for best results. Melting on high heat can turn it into a disaster and so can using a microwave . Keep stirring the mixture while heating.
When the beeswax has melted, turn off the heat. Keep stirring constantly until the lip balm starts to thicken and starts shaping up. Now is the time to add the Aloe Vera extract. Stir it in well with all other ingredients in the boiler.
Ready the containers before you start the boiler. These should be containers of old lip balms that you used. Take both small and large containers. You can place the small ones for travel in your bag and the large ones at home. Wash the containers well and dry them. Now pour the lip balm into them neatly. Let the lip balm cool down and set in a firm shape before you cap up the containers. They also make excellent gifts because anything that you make from your own hands and using your skill is special.
