How to Make Easy Homemade Macaroni and Cheese

Macaroni, originated from Italy, is one of the varieties of dry pasta, which is made with durum wheat. It is one of the most consumed dishes all around the globe, and is liked by almost all the age groups.

– 8 ounces of uncooked elbow macaroni
– 2 cups of shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
– 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
– 3 cups of milk
– 1/4 cup of butter
– 2 1/2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
– 2 tablespoons of butter
– 1/2 cup of bread crumbs
– 1 pinch of paprika

    Prepare macaroni according to the package directions, and drain it.

    Take a saucepan, and add some butter or margarine in it. Now melt it on medium heat. Add flour in the saucepan, and stir together to make a roux. Add milk slowly to roux, and continue stirring the roux. Add cheese, and cook it over light heat until the cheese is completely melted, making the sauce a little thick. Put prepared and drained macaroni in a large casserole dish, and pour the sauce over it. Whisk it together properly.

    Melt margarine or butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add breadcrumbs and brown in the saucepan. Spread the mixture over the macaroni and cheese. Take paprika, and sprinkle it a little at the top of it.

    Bake it properly at 350 degrees F for at least 25 to 30 minutes. Allow it to cool down a little bit, and then serve as you need.
