Warm the eggs to room temperature
Take a bowl and fill it with warm water. Now soak three large eggs and leave them for almost 15 minutes. This will warm the eggs to room temperature.
Preheat the oven
Next you need to preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
Blend flour, milk, eggs, melted butter and salt
Get a blender and add one cup of all-purpose flour, one cup of milk, three large eggs which you have warmed to room temperature, one tablespoon of melted butter and ¼ teaspoon of salt. Then mix the ingredients by turning on the blender. You can also take a bowl, add all of these ingredients and whisk them.
Grease the popover pan, custard cups or muffin tins
Now you need to take the popover pan and grease it with oil or butter. Besides a popover pan, you can also use custard cups or muffin tins. However, you need to grease them as well before using.
Warm the popover pan
After greasing the popover pan, you need to place it in the preheated oven. Place for two to three minutes in order to warm the pan.
Fill the pan’s sections with popover batter
Next you need to fill the sections of the popover pan with popover batter. However, you need to fill them half-full.
Bake the popovers for 20 minutes at 450 degrees F. After baking for 20 minutes, you need to lower the temperature to 350 degrees and bake for another 20 minutes.
Cool before splitting
After baking, let the popovers to slightly cool before splitting them.
