Preheat the oven
Preheat the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Mix seasonings in a bowl
Take a small bowl and mix all seasonings such as pepper, salt and garlic powder in it.
Heat oil in skillet and add onions
Heat the oil in a skillet and add onions to it. Wait until they become golden brown and then add garlic.
Combine other ingredients in a large bowl
Mix all the other ingredients in another bowl and then add water. Once everything settles in nicely, pour the mixture on the roast and place the onions alongside the meat.
Bake for three hours
Wrap the baking pan with aluminium foil and bake in the oven for three hours to get tender meat.
Assemble ingredients for gravy
While the roast gets ready, gather all ingredients for the gravy.
Add water to flour
Take a saucepan and add flour to it. Now, pour some water in it and stir with a spoon.
Add the beef broth
Now, mix the beef broth and continue stirring for a few minutes until you get the desired thickness in the gravy.
Serve with roast
Once both things will be ready, serve them to your family and enjoy.
