How to Melt Chocolate without Burning It

Chocolate is an integral part of many delights, delicacies and desserts. It is fair to say that without chocolate there simply cannot be a concept of sweet dishes. While melting a chocolate though, there is always a risk of burning and to cater for that you are required to melt it slowly over low heat.     Take a pan and place it on a stove over low heat. Then get your chocolate and break it into small pieces before placing them on the stove. As your chocolate starts to melt, you need to stir it with help of a rubber spatula. You can remove the pan from the stove after the chocolate is completely melted. However, continue stirring the melted chocolate until it comes smooth and shiny.

    Use a double-boiler to melt

    You can use a double boiler to melt a chocolate without burning it. You are required to fill the lower boiler with water and then simmer it. Remove it from the stove after this. Now fill the upper pan with broken pieces of chocolate and place it over the bottom pan. Now you need to stir with a rubber spatula until the chocolate is completely melted.

    You can use a microwave oven in order to melt the chocolate. This is the fastest way to to do the job. Get a microwave-safe glass bowl or a large measuring cup and then put small pieces of chocolate in it. Place it in the microwave and set the settings to defrost or half power. Microwave for half a minute and then stir the chocolate. Repeat this process of stirring and microwaving for 30 seconds until the chocolate is completely melted.
