The first step is to make the streusel topping and that is done by mixing 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour, 1 cup packed light-brown sugar and 1 1/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon. Refrigerate it until ready to use.
Let the oven preheat to 350 degree Fahrenheit.
Mix the batter for the cake, spread it on the round pan that has been greased with butter.
Sprinkle the batter with streusel.
The next step is to put the cake mixture into the oven and cook it till the crust is golden brown. That generally takes somewhere between 20-30 minutes. The doneness of the cake can be checked frequently at the latter stage of the process.
The glazing is drizzled down the cake and is allowed to drip. It sets in nearly 5 minutes.
