    Requirements

    The following documents should be submitted to the Russian Embassy or Consulate to obtain a Tourist Visa to enter Russia:

    Russian Embassy will require following documents to issue a tourist visa:

    Original passport with minimum two free pages for visa stamp or sticker. Applicant’s passport should be valid for at least six months after proposed departure from Russia.

    Photocopies of two duly completed and signed visa application form.

    Two passport style photos signed on the back.

    In case of individual entry provide a hotel confirmation or verification from authorised Russian travel company. This verification must specify confirmation of the visa and reference number.

    In case if applicant intends to tour in a group or cruise passenger, provide a letter of the tour or cruise company verifying itinerary. Also provide verification from authorised Russian travel company showing confirmation of the visa and reference number.

    As per the Russian law, tourist must register their Russian visa within 7 working days after arriving in the Russian Federation.

    If the applicant is staying at a hotel then hotel reception will take care of it for some nominal registration fee.

    In case of private stay, applicant’s visa is registration is the responsibility of host. The host will apply at the local police station or post office and fill out this notification form. Do not forget to enclose a photocopy of your passport (visa and photo pages) along with migration card. Host will also present his or her passport.

    Tourist visa fee for single and double entries up to 14-30 days for invitation next working day $30 and for invitation for next working day is $45.
