Even though a campus is a big place, full of people with varying interests, one does not necessarily have to feel lost in the crowd. Instead, one should aim to be the big man on campus, i.e. a person who has a lot of connections, knows when and where the most happening party is being held, which hang out is currently the hottest, which girls are the most popular, etc. To acquire recognition, knowledge and connections, one needs to put in a lot of effort. However, the hard work is definitely going to be worth it in the end.
