How To Choose a Permanent Hair Removal Technique

Hair Removal is a process through which one can remove the unwanted hairs on your body. There are several reasons and several techniques used to remove hairs from one’s body.

There are only two methods of removing hairs, temporary and permanent hair removal. Temporary Hair Removal methods have several techniques that include shaving, waxing, removal creams and many more. However, there are only two techniques that are used for Permanent Hair Removal, Laser Hair Removal and Electrolysis Hair Removal technique.

Both of these methods are still controversial; as several dermatologists insist that the medical science still has to introduce a technique through one can permanently remove hairs.

Nonetheless, United States of America have made it clear that permanent hair removal does not mean that hairs will not grow throughout the lifetime, but a technique that reduces hair growth for at least three months or more will be said as a permanent hair removal.

    Electrolysis is one of the techniques used to remove hairs from one’s body permanently. The device used to destroy the centre growth of the hair with heat energy.

    One can treat most parts of the body with Electrolysis including the eyebrows, face, thighs, legs, abdomen and breasts. Although there are no side effects of electrolysis, one can have a temporary reddening of the skin after going through the process.

    Several people believe that the process of removing hair through Electrolysis is very painful. However, in most of the cases, the process does not cause much discomfort, while the modern electrolysis methods have further decreased the level of uneasiness.

    In addition, many of the people believe that the temporary hair removing process through different products is better than removing hair permanently through Electrolysis. However, the hair removing products that work temporarily are extremely time consuming, and the chemical ingredients used in them can cause allergies to one’s skin as well.

    The process was first introduced in the early 1990’s, but it was commercially available to most of the clinics and salons at the start of the 21st Century. The primary principle behind the working of Laser Hair Removal process is to match a specific wavelength of light on a targeted tissue while ensuring that the surrounding tissues are not damaged. Make sure that the cooling gel is applied to the area that has to be treated before exposing it to the laser rays.
