How to Have Hair like Kim Kardashian

Love her or hate her, there is no denying the fact that Kim Kardashian is a fashion icon in Hollywood and while she has the perfect body with mesmerising eyes, her hairstyles are also trendy, forcing women around the world into following her. While she is blessed with thick hair, you may need some extra work before you can style your hair like hers. Women with long hair are ideal for this hairstyle while those with short hair will have to spend some money in getting hair extensions to match her length.

Before you begin, you first need to cut the split and dead ends as this will make your hair look healthier. You may also want to get a hair colour resembling Kim Kardashian’s, in order to complete your look.

You should use a volumising shampoo and conditioner when you wash your hair before styling it the Kardashian way. Make sure that the hair products you use do not have oils or silicones, which only weigh down the hair.

You should use a leave-in moisturiser before blow drying your hair as it will make your hair smoother, shinier and add more volume to it.

After washing and applying the leave-in hair products it is time to blow-dry your hair. You need to first adjust the blow-dryer to medium heat and then bend your head towards the ground. It is recommended that you use a wide-tooth hairbrush as you blow-dry the hair.

Now since Kim has long hair, you need them too, it is good if you have naturally long hair, but if not then you need to clip in a few extensions to add length.

Now comes the part where you have to mimic Kim’s deep and loose hair waves and for that you need to curl your hair.

  • 7

You first need to think about protecting your hair against the heat as you will be using a curling iron for this, so apply a heat protectant on the hair, starting from the roots and then working your way to the tips. This will prevent your hair from burning while using the curling iron.

Take a comb and part your hair equally from the centre of the head on both sides. Now part these two sections into further sections and clip them after twisting.

  • 9

Curl each section of the hair away from your face with the help of the curling iron.

  • 10

After you are done curling the hair, you now have to lightly brush to loosen your curls, which will create waves.

Now finish with a hairspray which will keep the waves in place.
