How to Make a Grasshopper Cocktail

The Grasshopper cocktail is one of the most flexible cocktails in which ingredients can be added or removed in order to get a flavour according to the needs of the drinker.

This cocktail makes use of crème de cacao and menthe and both of these can be introduced in the recipe with different ratios, allowing more flexibility in terms of the taste and presentation. The ingredients used are either creamy or they are green, and a mixture of these two creates a very refreshing and mouth-watering pale green texture for the drink.

Utensils: A cocktail glass, an electric cocktail shaker


– 3 / 4 ounces of fresh cream
– 3 / 4 ounces of crème de cacao (white in colour)
– Ice cubes as require
– 3 / 4 ounces of crème de menthe (green in colour)

    First of all, take an electric shaker and add ice cubes along with cream in it.

    Now add 3 / 4 ounces of fresh cream and 3 / 4 ounces of green crème de menthe in the shaker and shake the ingredients thoroughly.

    Turn off the electric cocktail shaker and strain all of the contents of the shaker into a cocktail glass.
