Steps to Make Peppered New York Steak
Steak is basically roasted beef, but it is a cut from specific part of meat i.e. situated next to the muscles. It is very tender part of meat. If you talk about steak then who can forget the tasty, and one of the best steaks i.e., New York steak and it is also known as shell steak or strip steak. It is one the favourite steaks of the Americans and when you eat it it melts in to your mouth. You must have eaten traditional New York steaks from many restaurants with different types of seasoning. This step by step guide will explain step by step recipe of peppered New York steak.
Preparation Time: (Approximately 30 to 40 minutes).
Serving Size: 2 to 3 people.

- One sirloin steak
- One teaspoon of ginger & garlic paste
- One teaspoon of crushed black pepper
- Two tablespoon of soya sauce
- Two tablespoon of vinegar
- Two tablespoon of oil
- Salt as required
Ingredients for Sauce:
- 250 grams of chopped tomatoes
- Two chopped green onions
- Half cup of chopped onions
- Half cup of chicken stock
- One teaspoon of chopped green coriander
- One teaspoon of cumin
- One tablespoon of Worchester sauce
- One table spoon of lemon juice
- Four tablespoon of vinegar
- Salt as required
First of all we will prepare the sauce.
Take a blender and add chopped onions, chopped tomatoes, chopped green onions, cumin, chopped green coriander, lemon juice, chicken stock, 4 tablespoon vinegar, Worchester sauce and salt in it and then blend them all together.
Add the blend prepared in step 1 in a separate pan, and then cook it until it starts boiling. Cool it for some time and your sauce is ready.
Now next step is to prepare steak.
Take a bowl and add one teaspoon of ginger and garlic paste in it along with, crushed black pepper, soya sauce, vinegar and salt. Mix all of these and once they are mixed well, marinate the steak in it.
After marinating leave the steak for 10 minutes.
Now preheat the oven grill and then place the steak on grill pan. Once the steak gets tendered, place it in a serving plate and pour the sauce over it and then serve.
