Taking a student leave requires a student to first contact their immediate teacher or home room teacher. They should fully explain the reason for the leave and the dates they need off. Once they get a positive response from there, they can move on to the headmaster or principal to get final permission. In order to do this, an application of student leave must be sent in a letter form. The request contains all the required information for the school or university authorities to make a decision. A student should also attach any documents to the letter as proof for the reason of their leave. Having a parent or guardian send in a request by phone or mail is also a positive step.
