Pour it out of the pan onto sheets of news or waxed paper to cool. After it is cool, you can use it to create all sorts of things by sculpting it, covering other items, or putting it into clay molds. It will dry completely in several days.

Dryer Lint Paper Mache

Dryer lint paper mache is made in much the same way as dryer lint clay, but with more water and flour added in. The consistency will be thinner and smooth.

This paper mache can be used to smooth over models or other craft projects. For example, you can make paper mache bowls, balloons, or masks. Drying completely will take several days, after which you can sand it smooth and paint it.

Dryer lint makes excellent mulch if it comes primarily from natural fabrics. It can be mixed with compost or soil to help hold moisture in the ground for your plants. It can also cover the soil to shade roots and hold in water. Dryer lint can also be used that the bottom of houseplant pots to help drain water without losing any potting soil.
