KitchenAid Pro Line and Architect Series Convection Oven

A few months ago I purchased a KitchenAid Pro Line and Architect Series Convection Oven with a glass cook top, front control knobs, Architect Series II. This frameless cook top looks like it is built into my wall. It has three single and dual elements along with one single element. This means you can put a small pot or large pot on the stove and get an even cooking over the surface of the pot. Sometimes stoves have small elements. So when you put a large pot on the element, it hangs over. The beveled glass cook top adds a seamless look with my counter tops. The EasyConvect time and temperature conversion system take the guesswork out of baking and cooking. It comes with a built in warming compartment on the bottom of the oven. This is an outstanding feature when you are trying to keep your food warm while finishing something else on the stove.

Convection cooking creates an even flow of cooking and baking. It further uses less energy. With this oven you can still cook without using the convection oven. However, once you use it, you won’t want to use anything else. Let’s face it. If you can get a perfect even baked cake every time with convection cooking or a perfectly cooked roast, why bother the old fashioned way.

There is a manual that tells you how to convert from a regular oven temperature to the convection oven. However, the EasyConvect will keep it simpler for you. All you do is press the EasyConvect and put your regular oven temperature in and it will convert it to convection cooking or baking for you. You can actually cook a twenty pound turkey in two and a half hours.

What is also nice is the stove top and oven does not take a long to heat up. That causes less heat in the house.

It has an electric temperature probe that is beneficial to tell when your meat or foul is finished without having to open the oven door.

It has a self cleaning oven. The oven door can be removed for an easier and more thorough cleaning of the oven.

Best of all, it is all computerized. You will hardly have to consult your owner’s manual because it prompts you to the next step.

The kind of finish I bought was a stainless steel. You might hear some people claim that it is difficult to keep clean. But that is not true. All you need is a good stainless steel cleaner polish and it takes care of any finger prints easily.

This is my first convection oven. I’ve always loved to cook. However, this makes cooking and baking more enjoyable. It isn’t cheap. I paid about $1400 for mine. But I’m worth it!
