Always start off by discussing your expectations from your partner. Be realistic about what you expect from your husband. A good housewife would always know how her husband wants her to act. Make sure that you and your husband are on the same page when it comes to taking big decisions in life. For instance, if you have children to take care of, your husband should understand that keeping up with everyday chores will be difficult for you.

Try to look good all the time. Before your husband wakes up in the morning, you should get ready to show him a smiling face. There might be a lot of problems for him to face at work; you wouldn’t want that frown to ruin his day. Once he returns from his tiring routine, he wouldn’t like to see a shabby wife awaiting his arrival. Try to look neat and clean and take good care of your hygiene. Important tip: smell good.

Learn how to cook good food. You know how they say that the best way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. Read recipes and try to experiment in the kitchen, but it doesn’t mean you keep making things which don’t taste good. Also, specialize in a certain dish and try to limit it for a special occasion. For instance, if he loves your pancakes, it doesn’t mean you make them every day or they will lose their charm.

Give your man the space he needs. Try to understand how men require personal space when it comes to work related problems. Do not put him under pressure by asking too many questions. In fact, try to make things easier for him and deliver by fulfilling all his other needs.

Listen to him and always give a positive feedback. You should be his best friend; someone he can always talk to and trust. You might get involved in arguments at some point in time, but always try to avoid them.
