Buy the trainer that suits you best

There are three types of trainer available in the market and you can buy the one that best suits you. Wind bicycle trainers are usually noisy but are inexpensive whereas fluid and magnetic ones are quiet and expensive.

Select a place for the bicycle trainer

You need to determine a place in the house where you intend to place the trainer. The trainer generally requires a little more space than a bicycle and can be set in the living room or in your own room. Make sure there is ample space for you to stretch your arms as exercising can be tiring at times.

Place the trainer on the rubber mat

Once you have found the suitable spot in the house, place the rubber mat on the ground. Make sure you level the rubber mat from all sides. Now place the bicycle trainer on one side of the mat, making sure that you leave enough room for the bicycle.

Fix the back wheel in the trainer

Fix the back wheel in the trainer to set your bicycle on the mat. You must fix the holders tightly and make sure there are no loose screws. Once the bicycle is set, check the front wheel. It should be on the mat if you want to exercise smoothly. Placing the front tyre on the floor could damage it and would also be noisy when you are doing your work out.
