Don’t put too much load on your computer while working on Word, because this slows the speed. Open Word 2007, and clink on ‘New’ to open a fresh page. If you are already preparing a file, you can still add boxes to it. Go to ‘Insert’ menu, which is right next to ‘Home’ on the top navigation.
There will be many options in there, but look for the one that says ‘Text Box’, lying in the ‘Text’ group.
As you click on it, a list will pop up with different shapes of the boxes. Choose the box of your choice. If you don’t like any, you can draw one of your own. Right under the different shapes, there is an option that says ‘Draw Box’.
Locate the place on the page, where you want draw it. Push the click button and drag the pointer to create the box’s boundaries. After stretching it to the length of your choice, release it. Now, you can write text within the box.
Adding a decorative box in World 2007 is also a very simple thing to do. The process is almost identical. Go to the ‘Insert’ menu, and locate the "Illustrations" group.
Now, you need to click on ‘Shapes’. A variety of boxes will come up in front of you, and you can click on the one you would like to insert.
