How to Make a Pop Up Photograph

Photography is one of the most amazing forms of art. There are many different types of photography which can mainly be divided into aerial, adventure, amateur, artistic, black and white, commercial, panoramic, pinhole, ultraviolet, urban and underwater.

Pop-up photographs are included in one of the most creative and artistic types of photography. You can make a pop-up photo of your family, friend, pet or any other imaginary scene. You can also use a drawing or a cut-out piece from a magazine.

Things Required:

– Several pictures or several copies of the same picture that you may cut apart
– Scissors
– Glue stick

    First of all, you have to choose a photo which you want to convert into a pop-up. You can select any of your pictures with your friends or family. Moreover, you can also choose a picture of your pet, a drawing or any other imaginary scene which you like. It is very important for you to select the right photo for the pop-up, otherwise all your hard work will result in vain. You can also select multiple photos at a time to create a pop-up photograph.

    After selecting a nice picture or a set of pictures, you have to cut off the objects from those pictures which you want to pop-up in the front. Use the scissors carefully to cut the objects.

    Then, you have to fold the background of your picture in half from the inside. After that, press it and keep it folded. You have to create 2 parallel cuts of equal lengths in the folded picture. You must keep in mind that you will have to paste the cut-outs on the front of the pictures which should be longer enough to match it appearance.

    Now, create one more set of all the cut-outs and fold all the tabs in the backward direction after pressing them horizontally. Fold all the pieces to the front and then just flip over the folded picture to the back. Then, you have to put all the tabs in the horizontal position.

    Take the glue and apply it to the cut-outs after opening the picture to around 90 degrees. Don’t open the picture more than 90 degrees as it will ruin its adjustments.
