  • Whole wheat flour (about 1 cup): 4.75 ounces
  • Rye flour (about 1 cup): 4 ounces
  • Cornmeal: 1 cup
  • Raisins: 1 cup
  • Baking sod: 2 teaspoons
  • Salt: ½ teaspoon
  • Buttermilk: 2 cups
  • Molasses: ¾ cup
  • Butter, melted: 2 tablespoons
  • Grated orange rind: 1 tablespoon

  1. The first and foremost thing you will do is to rinse your utensils as it’s really important to remove dirt and germs.
