Sleep on your back
Although this may sound unrealistic to you, your sleeping posture affects your facial skin too. In order to prevent this problem, you have to sleep on your back, as that does not cause pulling of your facial skin. If you are not used to sleeping like this and change positions throughout the night, you should use a silk pillow, which causes minimum pressure on the skin.
Before going to bed, cleansing your face is compulsory. There will be a lot of dirt in your pores and the skin will be oily. Gently wash your skin and then dry it properly with a towel.
Take care of your diet
Your eating habits affect your facial skin, so make sure that you intake a nutritious diet. The best option would be fresh vegetables and fruits, as they have all the necessary vitamins that keep your skin healthy.
Your skin needs proper hydration, so drink plenty of water throughout the day. People reduce the intake of water during the winters, which is not the right thing to do. Consume at least eight glasses of water daily in order to stay out of trouble.
You can also prevent facial aging, if you exercise regularly. This way, your skin will stay firm and you will look younger than you actually are.
According to different researches, smoking accelerates the aging process. You should quit it immediately, if you are concerned about getting old.
Don’t expose your skin to the sun
The sun emits some dangerous rays, which can damage your facial skin. So, make sure you have covered your face properly during the summers (using a good quality sun block) and wear shades to avoid dark circles around your eyes.
