How to Take Good MySpace Photos

MySpace is a social networking website that allows users to connect with each other and share their experiences, interests, etc. It was once considered to be most popular networking website, but that changed once Facebook made its appearance. However, even now, thousands of peoples around the globe are still active on MySpace.

One of the many interesting features of MySpace is that it allows users to share photos with their network. The process to do this is a simple one. However, the only thing that is a bit troublesome is the process of successfully taking a great photo to upload on MySpace. Even though it is a tough job, it is still very much possible. You just need to keep a few important things in mind.

    Try to take your photos on a day when you are feeling relaxed. Being under any kind of stress can make you look tired and off-colour.

    Remember to make proper preparations for your photo session. This includes taking a hot shower to look really fresh, laying out any jewellery that you plan on wearing, laying out the clothes that you want to wear, etc. Since the photos will be getting uploaded on your MySpace account, you would want them all to be nothing short of superb, which makes the preparation so important. Also keep in mind that you will be spending a fair bit of time on mission to take beautiful photos, which is why you should start with it only when you have plenty of time to spare.

    Put on skin cream and makeup in order to make your face look even more beautiful. There are a number of makeup styles for you to choose from, including natural and loud. Take your time preparing your face for the photos.

    Do your hair. Hair is the next important thing after the face that can either make or break a photo. In most cases, people notice the hair even before their eyes fall on the face, which is why you need to play special attention to it.

    Grab your camera and look for a well-lit area in your house. Lighting is one of the main factors when it comes to taking a good photo. You will have to rely on your judgement to find the area where there is sufficient light. Also keep in mind that the light is falling on your face instead of coming from behind, as the latter will result in shadows on your face.

    Start taking the pictures. Strike a different pose in every picture so that they do not appear to be the same. Take more photos that you actually need, so that you have a wider range of options to choose from.

    If you were using a digital camera, connect it to your computer and transfer the pictures to the hard disk.

    Open the web browser on your computer and access your MySpace account. You cannot complete this and the subsequent steps with an active Internet connection.

    On your MySpace page, locate and click “Upload/Change Photos” and then click the box that reads “Upload Photos.” Browse to the folder where you saved the photos that you just transferred from your camera and select them. Click “Upload” to start the uploading process.
