These are some great Thai restaurants in the Boston area. If you have time check them all out. Each is Thai restaurant is different and has something unique to offer. Boston is known for its great food and the Thai restaurants definitely offer up some competitive cuisine at super affordable prices.

Khao Sarn serves up Northern inspired Thai food in a city full of traditional Thai food restaurants. This is a nice change if you love Thai food and want to try something new and definitely different than your usually dish of pad Thai. The staff is especially helpful at this very poplar Thai restaurant. You need them to be because many of their dishes are not too well known. They do carry some of the more expected dishes you can always find at traditional Thai restaurants in America though. For something new I definitely recommend the haw moak. This is a very healthy dish. Chicken is steamed in banana leaves along with a variety of spices that give it a distinctly Thai flavor. Coconut and curry paste round out the flavors in this superb dish. Khao Sarn is very popular and can get a little crowded on the weekend. They are open Sunday through Thursday 11:30am to 10:00pm and Friday through Saturday 11:30am to 1:00pm. I recommend coming during the week and at lunchtime if crowds are not your thing. The food is always exceptional and the staff is superb. Khao Sarn is located just a few miles outside of the Boston city limits at 250 Harvard Street, Brookline, Massachusetts, 02446. You can reach them at (617) 566-7200 if you need directions or something to take out.

Montien Thai Restaurant is a fabulous Thai restaurant in the Boston area. Boston is well known for their fabulous restaurants and Thai food here is no exception. In particular Montien Thai restaurant is known for their superb quality of sushi. They have a large selection of the freshest food on their sushi bar. Prices are kept reasonable due to their large turn around of customers in this sushi-loving town. Boston is the only place I have seen a Sushi restaurant and a Dunkin donuts attached to each other. Montien Thai Restaurant is open Monday through Saturday 11:30am to 10:30pm and on Sundays from 4:00pm to 10:00pm. This is a great place for a quick weekday lunch hour break. They are located at 63 Stuart Street, Boston, Massachusetts, 02116. You can call them for direction at (617) 338-5600.

Rod Dee Thai Cuisine is one of the smallest Thai restaurants I have ever been in. They have only five or six tables jam packed into their dining room. Pictures of their delicious menu items are posted on the wall for all to see. This is casual Thai food taken to the extreme. You order what you want at the counter and it is prepared fresh and perfect every single time. Menu items are exactly what you would expect form a Thai restaurant in America. A variety of curries, noodles, pad thai dishes, spring rolls and more are all wonderful here. If you are in a hurry, feeling casual, and want top notch Thai food you should definitely check this place out! Rod Thai Cuisine is located at 1430 Beacon Street Brookline, Massachusetts, 02446. You can call ahead for take out at (617) 338-5600. I would call from about a block away though because your food is prepared fast here.
