This Latin American restaurant offers some of the best Brazilian and South American food in Maryland. I had the Salvadorian Trout and was blown away by how delicious it was. The Gambas (shrimp and garlic) was a great appetizer to start off the night.

This first-class mom and pop kitchen serves some of the best Cuban dishes in the entire Washington area. Ropa Vieja (shredded beef) is spectacular. The dish Arroz con pollo(yellow rice and baked chicken cooked in Olive Oil) is a favorite among the restaurants patrons. The outside appearance (which is located in a horrid strip mall) is not appealing, but one taste of it great dishes, and you will be hooked.

South India is thoroughly represented with more than a dozen of dishes that caters towards vegetarians. For meat eaters, the Lamb vindaloo with vinegar and red chili punch is sure to satisfy the appetite. The butter chicken with tomato, cream and sweet herbs are very good.
