It also focuses the marine and aerospace sectors of UK defence industry, automobile industry, chemical, construction, cyberspace, postal services, electronics and retail industry of Britain. It also aims for consumer protection and safety and oversees the employment policies. BIS also covers areas of enterprise and business support and formulates the trade and export control policy.
