Greek Yogurt Watermelon Smoothie

Greek Yogurt Watermelon Smoothie is a great drink for the summer. It is immensely popular amongst children and is very easy to make. You will get a minimum 158 calories if you consume this drink and the use of watermelons is extremely healthy for your body as well – watermelons are said to be great toxin removers from the body.

Utensils: Mixing bowls, spoon, knife, blender, cutting board

Ingredients:
Watermelon chunks: 3 cups
Banana: 1 chopped
Ice: 1 cup
Greek-style vanilla yogurt: 1 ½ cups

    Gather all the ingredients



    First of all, put the watermelon chunks, banana, yogurt and sugar all in one place. You do not want to be running to find sugar when the ingredients are placed in a blender. Cutting the banana into small pieces on a cutting board is important.

    Place watermelon and bananas in blender



    Add the watermelon chunks and banana pieces into the blender. Make sure the blender is switched off when you are adding the ingredients.

    Add yogurt and blend until the liquid is smooth



    Add half cup of Greek-styled yogurt in the end and close the lid of the blender. Blend the ingredients at high speed for a good five minutes so that they are well combined. The liquid should be smooth and foamy. A good way to check is to insert a spoon in the blender when you have stopped. Stir the liquid and if it is smooth and nice, your drink is done.

    Serve immediately



    Pour the drink in the four glasses and serve immediately as the Greek Yogurt Watermelon Smoothie tastes best when it is fresh. Add ice according to your need if you want a chilled drink.
