    Requirements


    a)      Provide 2 application forms, which must be fully completed and dully signed by the applicant.


    b)      Provide a passport which must be valid for no less than 6 months.


    c)       Applicant must attach his or her two passport size photographs with the visa application form.


    d)      Provide evidence of activity or letter of employment in the United Kingdom.

    f)       Travel arrangements should be made on the base of entry date indicated on the visa of the applicant. As, the entry of the applicant is not allowed before the specified date on the visa.


    g)      Similarly, applicants must also leave Algeria before the expiry date specified on the right hand corner of the visa sticker.


    h)      If the required documents are not complete, Consulate will not process the request.

    Other than the above mentioned two ways, applications sent for visa will not be entertained.

    Visa Fee

    Note: The consulate does not charge any extra fees for urgent visas.

    Payment Mode


    The mode of payment for getting the tourist visa of Algeria is either by cash or postal order made payable to the "Algerian Consulate".


    Applications made by post must include a special delivery self addressed envelope, which should be up to 500 grams. Applicant must also use the £4.10 stamps and not the white SD Sticker, for mail. Applicants from the Republic of Ireland must include a £6 postal order instead. Also make sure while applying by post that you have indicated the date of entry on the visa application form.

    Processing Time


    Normal visa applications are usually issued within 5 working days, while the applications made by post can take up to 10 working days.


    Note: In certain periods of year due to the high volume of applications the processing time may vary. So in that case it can take up to ten working days to issue a visa.


    The Algerian Consulate will not be responsible for the loss of any documents sent to them by post.


    Departure date does not affect the processing time of the application.

    Collect Visa


    Applicants can collect their passports at the Consulate between 4:00 to 4:30 pm from Tuesday to Friday from the Embassy of Algeria in London (see address above) after visa is granted to them. Those, who have sent their documents by prepaid self-addressed special delivery envelope, will get their visa and original documents by mail.
