In order to apply for the tourist visit visa for the Kazakhstan, you need to provide the following documents:
(a) A letter making a request to issue visa addressed to the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Kazakhstan.
(b) Completed application form duly signed by the applicant.
(c) Passport valid for at least six months longer than the validity of the requested visa. Your passport must contain at least one blank page.
(d) One passport size photograph that should be attached on the designated space in the application form.
(e) Visa fee.
(f) Hotel booking.
Requirements are subject to change as per policy by the Kazakhstan Embassy in London. You should consult the official website of the Embassy for the updated information.
The residents of all countries need to present an official invitation for a visa. However, the Nationals of the following countries do not need visa invitation.
Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Ireland, Iceland, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Monaco, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, USA, United Arab Emirates, Croatia, Czech Republic, Romania, Bulgaria, Malta, Cyprus, Slovenia, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and the Sultanate of Oman.
Visa fee is given as under:
Single Entry tourist visa valid for 30 days: 35 GBP
Double Entry tourist visa valid for 60 days: 50 GBP
Triple Entry tourist visa valid for 90 days: 65 GBP
Fee should be by card, cheque or by postal order made payable to the name of the “Embassy of the Kazakhstan”. Cash is not accepted.
Submission of Application
Application can be submitted in person to the visa section of the Embassy between 9:00 to 12:00 from Monday to Friday. Remember, Wednesday is only designated for the Kazak citizens. On the time of submissions of the application, you should get a collection ticker from the Consulate. You will need to present it on the time of visa collection.
You can also send application by postal service. You should use registered mail. You should send prepaid, stamped, self-addressed delivery envelope with your application to get back visa by post.
Visa application processing time is three working days that may change for the postal applications. You should not contact the Consulate by phone to get information about your visa. You should use e-mail address given on the official website of the Kazakhstan Embassy in London.

Collection of Visa
If you submit your application in person, you need to collect it from the Visa section of the Embassy between 9:00 to 12:00 from Monday to Friday. If you submit your application by post, your visa along with original documents will be sent back to you on your given address.
Final Check List
Before you submit your application to the Kazakhstan Embassy in London, you should double check your application packet. It will help you avoid any delays and inconvenience. You should check:
a) application Form is completely filled and signed by the applicant at the designated place on form,
b) passport have minimum of six months validity and at least one blank page,
c) photographs is attached at the designated place and is according to the requirements,
d) visa fee Postal Order made payable to the name of the "Embassy of Kazakhstans" is attached,
e) air return ticket, hotel bookings and bank statement is attached with your application.
Things Allowed and Precautions for Tourists
Tourists should consult with the Embassy to know what kind of things are allowed and how much luggage can be taken on the trip. Usually tourists are allowed to take camps, clothes, allowed medicines, music players, laptops, cameras and other daily usage articles. Remember, you cannot work in Kazakhstan on tourist visit visa. You may be penalised with fine if you try to do work. You should always have your passport and identity with you during your entire trip. You should cooperate with the immigration Authorities all the time. In case of Emergency, immediately contact with the nearest Embassy of your country of Nationality.
