    Buy a good quality jumping rope

    Look for a good quality jumping rope.  You can get a good quality rope from any sports store. Make sure that you check out the rope for kinks. If possible, go for a rope whose length can be adjusted according to your changing needs.

    Check the jump rope’s length

    If an adjustable jump rope is not available, ensure that its length is according to your specific needs.. The best way of doing so is to step on the middle of the rope with one foot and drag the handles upwards.
