Ingredients
  • Bacon – 4 Slices
  • Parsley – 3 sprigs
  • Garlic cloves – 2
  • Celery – 3 stalks
  • Onions – 2
  • Vegetable oil – 3 tablespoons
  • Carrots – 3
  • Dry red lentils – 340 g
  • Water – 1.5 litres
  • Bay leaf – 1
  • Salt and pepper – As per your needs
Instructions
  1. Rinse the lentils in a sieve under running cold water.
  2. Transfer the mixture into a bowl and cover it with a lid. Leave it for the next 30 minutes.
  3. Heat the oil in a large pan and if you can add bacon then better fry it before mixing it with the mixture. Now add the vegetables and garlic and fry until they become soft.
  4. Drain the lentils and mix them with vegetables, herbs and water. Cook until the lentils and vegetables about 30 minutes.
  5. Get grass seed and beat the soup in a blender.
