Banana Cream Frosting is generally prepared as a topping for a host of cakes. The frosting is very easy to prepare and takes only 10 minutes to be made. There are many different ways to prepare the Banana Cream frosting. The filling can be made with vanilla extracts, peanut butter and cheese, vinegar, lemon juice and with soy milk.
Instant banana pudding mix: 1 packet
Very ripe mashed banana: 1
Milk: 1 cup
Butter: ½ cup
Vanilla: 1 teaspoon
Confectioners’ sugar: 1 package
Mash the ripe banana and add it to the bowl. If you are using a food processor for making the frosting, it will be good to slice the banana into small pieces rather than mashing it.
Now add the banana pudding mix into the bowl and stir the mixture so that the pudding mix and the mashed banana are dissolved completely
Now add the butter and sugar to the mixture in the bowl and stir vigorously with a wooden spatula until the ingredients are totally combined. Make sure the sides of the bowl are also cleaned so that the taste remains consistent throughout the frosting
Slowly add the milk to the frosting. The process should be slow and steady and the mixture should be stirred for a while after pouring some milk. Continue the process until the milk is totally added to the bowl.
The quantity of the milk in the mixture is very important as more milk can cause the frosting to become comparatively thinner which will not give the desired results in the end
When all the ingredients are completely combined, pour the teaspoon of vanilla syrup to give the frosting a more delicious flavour.
Stir the mixture with the spatula until the frosting gives a creamy and frothy look. When done, the Banana Cream frosting can be used as a topping for cakes, muffins or pastries
