Prepare Cucumber Slices
Take a large fresh cucumber and peel it properly, using a sharp knife. Place on a cutting board and cut it into fine slices. These slices will start releasing water after some time. Therefore, place them between two large paper or kitchen towels and set in a colander for about 10 minutes, allowing the liquid to drain.
Place Ingredients in a Bowl
In the mean time, grab a bowl and add 8 ounce of softened cheese, ¼ cup of mayonnaise, ¼ teaspoon of garlic powder, ¼ teaspoon of onion salt and 1 dash of Worcestershire sauce into it.
Use a spoon, fork or whisk to blend the ingredients together until they mingle up well and form a thick but smooth paste. Cover the bowl and let it marinate for few minutes.
Make Bread Slices
Take about one pound and remove its crust with a knife. Now cut it into slices.
Apply the Cream-Cheese Mixture
Pick up the bread slices one by one and evenly apply the cream-cheese mixture on one of their sides, using a knife.
Add Cucumber Slices
Now place the drained cucumber slices over half of the bread slices and then dust them with some lemon pepper.
Give them a Sandwich Shape
Apply a thin layer of mayonnaise to the other halves of the bread slices and place them over the cucumber slices to give them a sandwich shape.
Garnish and Enjoy
Arrange your cucumber sandwiches for tea on a tray or large platter and place a few fresh parsley or mint leaves on the top for a refreshing garnish. Serve and enjoy!
