Facilities & Services
The Adjudicator's office works to handle the complaints against HM Revenue & Customs, the Valuation Office Agency or The Insolvency Service. A complainant must initially go through the relevant department's initial and internal complaint processes and if still unsatisfied then it can contact Adjuducator's office. Adjudicator's office resolve some cases by mediation where both parties reach an agreeable point as to how the case should be settled while for other cases (where mediation is inappropriate) recommendations are sent to the department or the complainant. If a complainant is still not satisfied then it can forward the complaint to Parliamentary Ombudsman as a last resort.
The office works between 9.00 am to 5.00 pm from Monday to Friday.
