Instructions

    Dress Appropriately

This is the first thing that you should do at any social event. Do not dress as if you came for a walk in the park and have some formality to your attire. This will help you fit right in and you will feel accepted at the event.

    Attention to Art

Do make sure that you pay attention to the art work on display and be less interested in other events such as recent inflationary trends as this will not reflect well upon you. Discuss the art and the artists pros and cons (mostly pros) and if you are yourself an artist, do not discuss your own art work as it is certainly against the code.

    Stay at a Distance

It is fine to look and admire the artwork but do not touch it. Some artists can be described as touchy when people come in contact with their masterpieces and can lose their calm. Also if you like a certain piece of art and want to add it to your collection, do not try to haggle with the artist. The price is always fixed and artists consider it to be an insult when someone tries to get a lower price.
