The following precautions are advised to tourists visiting Chad.
a) Visit your physician to take vaccines against malaria and yellow fever. Also take vaccinations against or emergency medicines against diarrhea, upper respiratory infections, meningitis outbreaks, cholera, diphtheria, chicken pox and typhoid.

d) You will be required to report or register at a police station in Chad within 72 hours of your entry in Chad.
