The first ever Latitude Festival was held in 2006 from 14th of July to 16th of July and after that it is being held every year. In 2007 the event was blemished due to presence of some thieves and more than 40 tents were burgled on the night of 12 July but since then the event is going smooth.

The festival is held in summer during the mid of July.
The campsite will open from 14:00 hours on ward from starting date and will commence till 17:00 hours on the closing date.
