How to Make a Strawberry Batida Cocktail

Utensils: Blender, Wooden pestle, Knife, Chopping board, Highball Glass or any other cocktail glass
(50 ml) Cachaca
(5 to 6) fresh properly ripen strawberries
(3 teaspoon) sugar
( 1 cup) ice cubes or crushed ice
Fresh strawberry for garnishing – optional

    First of all, crush the ice with a wooden pestle or a rolling pin. Otherwise, you can directly place one cup of ice cubes into an electric blender.

    Once you place the ice in the blender, pour 50 ml of Cachaca into it. Set the blender aside for few seconds.

    Meanwhile, take 5 to 6 fresh properly ripen strawberries and remove their stalks with a sharp knife.

    Place the strawberries in the blender and add in 3 teaspoons of sugar.

    Seal the blender properly and turn it on at medium speed. Blend the ingredients for 15 to 20 seconds or until smooth.

    Remove the lid of the blender jug and pour the cocktail into a cocktail glass, giving the blender a gently shake so that all ingredients come out.

    Take fresh strawberry, cut it from the tip, and place it on the side of the glass.

    Place a straw in the glass and present it immediately.
