How to Make an Anaconda Shooter

Don’t get confused with the name; shooters normally have such names, just for the reason that people remember the drink long after they had it. Well, if you’re looking for something that gets you and your partner tipsy, Anaconda is worth trying and better is to learn making it, so you can have fun any time.

Anaconda shooter is one of the most popular shooters and serves best for a party at home or a crazy night out. It’s prepared with famous Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, which is said to be one of the best selling whiskies in the world. Although JD is the essence of the shooter, any other brand will work too. As two alcoholic drinks are the main ingredients of any shooter, for this one Sambuca liquor is added to Jack Daniele’s whisky and probably it gets its name, ‘Anaconda’ from it.

Whether there’s a weekend party at your place or a big event where you want to celebrate with great fun, do add the shooter in menu and you’ll find the whole event hyperactive.

Utensils required: Cocktail shaker, blender (optional)


– Jack Daniels whisky (1.5 oz)
– Sambuca liqueur (1 oz)
– 3 ice cubes (better is to crush them in a blender)

    In the Shaker

    Add the Jack Daniels Tennessee Whiskey and Sambuca liqueur into a cocktail shaker along with ice.

    Cream It

    Shake the mixture vigorously for at least half a minute. Once done,  strain into shot glass.

    Garnish it with anything you like, i.e. mint, olive or just a lime slice will do great. However, make sure that garnishing on both the glasses is same; either according to your taste or your partners!

    Your beverage is now ready to be enjoyed, so go ahead and do so.
