First of all, take a nice look at the rocker. You are required to get yourself a good long level. It should be straight and long; however, it does have to be level essentially. Put the level right in middle of the board.
It is the time to note down the dimensions of the rocker. Take the measurements with the tape. Make sure one end of the tape is touching the level, whereas the second end at the level of the board. Usually, the general rockers run between one and a half to two and a half inches. But it entirely depends on the length of the board.
The nose rockers run anywhere between three and a half to six inches. Take measurement of both sides to see which category you board belongs to.
Once you have taken the measurements, you will be able to know what sort of board you have. If the board is flat with a tiny curve, it will go faster. On the other hand, if the curve is big, it will help you play tricks on the water.
