The Old Actonians Club was formed in 1964 and its sole purpose was to rent the sports ground from Acton Borough Council to provide better sporting opportunities to the local community. Prior to the club formation, Old Actonians was an association representing former students of Acton County Grammar School and the association was formed in 1925. In 1974, the lease of the club was extended and at that time it was converted to Limited by Guarantee Company.
