Don’t Call God Out

Strike one!
Strike two!
Strike three!
You’re out!

In similar case to the analogy, we have a tendency to cal God out when we don’t get our way or if things will not hurry along as we would like them to. We throw our spiritual, and sometimes, physical hands in the air telling God that we are better without him, which is a lie straight from Hell.

However, many of us never consider the foresight of God or his right to tell us succinctly “no” in any situation. We always want the approval, but never the rejection; and if we ever receive one, we are apt to find a futile and wasteful means of achieving our purposes.

There is a reason for the “no” or the “wait” and while we are in that state with our supplications let us do as Hebrews 13: 15 tell us: “by him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to his name…. for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.”

We should give continual praise to God no matter the answer we receive.

Is it hard? At times, but all noble things are, as stated by Oswald Chambers; but remembering that such things please God, let us not be weary in doing so.
