Use a soft child’s toothbrush
First you need to get a soft toothbrush which is used by children. Use it to wipe off any debris or dirt particles on the surface of your silver jewelry. Remember to apply it gently and in a way like you are brushing your teeth. You should move the toothbrush in a circular motion and apply it on the whole surface of the jewelry. You should use a small child’s toothbrush to clean the area in engravings and between stones. The smaller head is used so the toothbrush can easily clean hard-to-reach spots.
Next you need to rinse the jewelry items under running water. Remember to thoroughly rinse the pieces. You need to turn the pieces upside down so the water cleans any remaining particles between every crevice. In the end, shake the piece in order to dry it.
Dish soap and water mixture
Take a bowl and pour warm water in it. Add dish soap and then use soft toothbrush and dip in the solution. Later gently apply it on the silver jewelry. Apply the solution in a circular motion on the whole surface and every crevice in the piece.
Apply non-abrasive and non-whitening toothpaste
After using the dish soap and water solution, you need to dry the brush. Then add non-abrasive and non-whitening toothpaste on the brush and apply on the piece.
Next you need to rinse the silver piece under running water again. Rinse it until the paste residue is wiped off from the jewelry. Let it dry after rinsing.
Rub the piece
In the end you need to rub the silver piece with a soft rag. This will remove water spots and clean the piece.
