How to Make a Pusser’s Painkiller (Rum Drink)

A Pusser’s Painkiller cocktail is a rum-based drink that is similar in nature to a Pina Colada. The only difference between the two is that a Pina Colada is prepared by mixing basic rum, pineapple juice and cream of coconut, while the Painkiller also contains orange juice, along with the three abovementioned ingredients; in addition, the ratio of the ingredients is also a bit different from a Pina Colada. Furthermore, the Painkiller also gets a touch of added freshness via a finishing nutmeg dusting.

The Pusser’s Navy Rum used in this recipe not only adds flavour to the cocktail, but also makes it smooth, and you don’t feel bloated even after consuming a couple in a sitting. This rum-based drink is perfect for people who are fond of tropical cocktails, but do not want to drink the passé Pina Colada.
