How to Make Brown Skin Lighter

Making brown skin lighter is as simple task as sun-tanning your skin. Lightening you skin does not require any expensive beauty product or a treatment by a dermatologist. – Sun block / Sun screen lotion
– Lemon juice
–  Potatoes

    Start using Sun-Block

    First of all, start using a sun block, also known as sunscreen. It protects your skin from the ultraviolet rays (sun rays), which is one among the root causes of darker skin. So do not forget to check out the quantity of SPF (Sun protection factor). The higher the proportion of SPF – the greater is the chance of the blockage of sunrays.

    Note: Avoid sun exposure as much as you can.

    Understand that effectiveness lemon juice

    Lemon juice is the best natural ingredient that has been used in lightening skin tone. Lemon juice contains high ratio of citric acid, which stimulates the skin lightening process. It does not require any hard work as you just have to squeeze lemon juice, dip cotton ball in it and apply it to your skin. Otherwise, just cut a lemon into two and rub its inner skin against your skin. Wait for 10 to 15 minutes and wash with cold water.

    Apply lemon- sandalwood mask

    You can mix lemon with other useful ingredients to make a mask. Place some sandalwood powder in a small mixing bowl and top it with equal parts of tomato, lemon and cucumber juice. Mix all the ingredients with a whisk until forms a smooth paste. Apply the past into your skin, using your hands. Wait until the paste dry well and scrub it off gently. Wash with lukewarm water.

    Potatoes are another effective remedy for lightening skin as they are full of bleaching agents.  Pick few fresh potatoes, wash them thoroughly and cut them onto slices. Now, place them in an electric juicer and extract their juice. If you do not have an electric juicer, then place them in mortar and crush them with a pestle. Pour the crushed potato past into a muslin cloth and wrap it from all directions. Hold it tight and squeeze the potato juice into a medium bowl. Once you extract the potato juice, pour in equal amount of lemon juice and mix both of the properly. Now, apply it to your skin and leave for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse with cold water and feel the difference.

    Note: If you do not have time to form the potato paste, then you can cut a potato into fine slices and place them on your skin for some time.

    Apply orange-curd mask

    Orange-curd mask mixture is one more natural remedy for dark skin tone. Dry the orange peels by placing them in sunlight for few days or buy them from your nearest dry fruit shop. Place dry orange peels in an electric grinder or mortar. Now, grind them for few minutes until fine powdered. Add in some curd and whisk both ingredients until convert into a thick paste. Apply this paste to your skin and leave it for approximately 15 minutes. Rinse with mild water.

    Keep yourself hydrated

    Water is the best natural remedy for any type of skin problems. Make sure to keep yourself hydrated by drinking at least 8 to 12 glasses of water per day to lighten your dark skin. Various fruit juices are also effective in lightening your skin.
