First of all, you need to choose a correct scrunchie to create a hair donut. You will find different types of fabrics with different colours available in the market. Go for a colour that complements with the colour of your hair. In addition to that, you should also consider the amount of hair you have; you will find scrunchies with different sizes available in the market. Never purchase a large sized scrunchie if you have less hair.

Brush your hair properly to get rid of all tangles. Use spray or gel to secure the loose strands of hair. Brush your hair again to the back of your head, and make a ponytail using a rubber band or ponytail holder.

Now take a hair donut and open it. Wrap it around the top of your ponytail and close it. Now take a section of your hair and secure it over the same portion of the donut. Use a hair pin to properly secure the section of the hair close to your head.

Repeat the process for all sections of your hair, until make the donut complete covered with hair.
