Pre-Pasted Disposable Toothbrushes Make Dental Care Easier While Traveling

The new terrorism threat uncovered by British authorities in August 2006 has made pre-pasted disposable toothbrushes more essential while traveling. This is why it’s great to have a company like DentaKit to provide pre-pasted disposable toothbrushes for traveling. Traveling now in the USA means no more traditional toothpaste in carry-on luggage, so having pre-pasted disposable toothbrushes will make dental care not only easier, but more convenient. I want to discuss some of DentaKit’s products that I feel will be useful to many globe-trotters, as well as the dental appliance cleaner they stock called Retainer Brite.

The first of the pre-pasted disposable toothbrushes I tested come in assorted colors, including red, turquoise, and blue. They are wrapped individually in clear packaging. These pre-pasted disposable toothbrushes are treated with powdered toothpaste that gets activated when you put water on it and begin to brush. The paste lathered well enough to achieve one adequate cleaning. The taste of the paste is really a mildly minty one and left a clean feeling in my mouth. These brushes are currently priced at 65 cents each, but the more you buy, the lower the price goes. They are listed as “Pre-Pasted Disposable Toothbrushes” at DentaKit’s website Index link.

The second of the pre-pasted toothbrushes is a higher scale model known as the ReadyBrush, which start out at $1.10 each are “ADA Accepted”, but can be bought in packs of 30 for $27.00. These one-time cleaners do lather up a bit more than the above toothbrush, and also leave a clean feeling in my mouth. The fresh minty taste is very light. After brushing, you can keep this toothbrush in your dental arsenal, putting regular toothpaste on it for several more cleanings, as the bristles and handle are very durable. They are listed as “ReadyBrush – Deluxe Pre-Pasted Disposable” at the company’s Index link.

As for dental appliance cleaners, I used a Retainer Brite tablet to clean my mouthguard (which prevents teeth grinding) since the product isn’t just for non-metal solder-pointed orthodontic appliances. It looks and works like those denture cleaner tablets. Using these tablets helps to stop the build up of plaque on the appliances. It cleaned my mouthguard well, and left a mildly minty smell. It’s recommended that one of these tablets be used each day. DentaKit sells the tablets in three-month, six-month, and one year supplies, but the tablets are packaged like the denture cleaning tablets.

Besides pre-pasted disposable toothbrushes and cleaning supplies for dental appliances, DentaKit’s real specialty lies in orthodontic care products for those who wear braces and retainers. The company was founded by Lynn Schneider, who was fitted with braces. She was dissatisfied by the orthodontic items available for those who wear braces and retainers, so she started her own family business which caters to the needs of orthodontics wearers. See the below website for information on all her offerings in orthodontics care. Go to their “Index” link to find a complete listing of their product lines.

DentaKit offers gift certificates, too (from $25-$100 denominations), for your loved ones who either desire more convenience while traveling or who wear orthodontic appliances. DentaKit accepts major credit cards, as well as checks and money orders. They do ship to foreign countries and will gladly make refunds or exchanges on unused and unopened products they’ve sold to you.
