Even though Circus it self has a long an varied history, the CircusFest is a relatively new concept for London. CircusFest came about due to the dedication of The Roundhouse. The venue was large enough to support the high flying acts and the idea fit in well with the organizations commitment to young adults. The first CircusFest took place in 2010 and took place again in 2011. The 2012 festival has grown and more international acts have been added.
