How To Make an Herbal After-Bath Powder

After-bath powders are commonly used by women to absorb moisture from the skin and leave it smooth, soft and scented. While most cosmetics manufacturers have their own products available in the market, it is hard to find one that suits your skin type, especially if you have very sensitive skin.

Fortunately, it is not so hard to make your own, natural, herbal after-bath powder at home. Your own powder will be natural and without the additional chemicals used in commercial versions.

Using just a few ingredients from your garden, you can make a homemade nourishing after-bath powder that will keep your skin smooth and nicely scented. Homemade herbal after-bath powders also have aromatherapeutic qualities.

The most commonly used ingredient in homemade bath powders is lavender, which is believed to prevent depression, encourage clearer thinking alongside suppressing the appetite. Applying this powder will literally make your body fresh and your skin healthy.
